The Hot Grits Make NZ finals in MTV Kickstart

The Hot Grits are one of the 5 New Zealand finalists for MTV's 'Kickstart your Rockstar Career' competition.
That's right, on Friday 9th March we will be battling four other kiwi acts for an opportunity to win an MTV produced music video and represent Our Fine Green Country against several more bands made up of HORRIBLE AUSTRALIANS at MTV
Australia's video music awards in Sydney. If we win, we get a bunch of cash to blow on a video and some new jandals, plus a chance to take the giant inflatable hammer of soul to an Australian audience at MTV Australia Video Music Awards 2007 AVMA on 29 April 2007.
We think that's worth a bit of a crack.
Here's where you fit in: We would very much love it if you would come along and support us in the NZ final on Friday 9th March at the Studio. We'll be playing a short set, and I'm reliably informed that the esteemed panel of judges will be taking into account audience reaction. So come along and show your support for your favorite
